School Garden education
Garden Farms of Nevada has partnered with more than 300 Southern Nevada Public and Private schools since 2011 to assist in the implementation of vegetable gardens, orchards and edible landscapes on their campuses. Garden Farms has helped schools and the Clark County School District build and improve school garden programs by installing and maintaining sustainable garden systems as well as providing Garden Education to empower children and the community to grow their own food sustainably in the harsh southwest desert.

Garden installation
Our raised garden beds come complete with redwood lumber, soil, and water efficient drip irrigation systems. We offer vegetable gardens, fruit trees and edible landscaping. Custom gardens can be sunken, made of block, converted planters and ADA accessible. If your school can dream it, Garden Farms can do it!
Garden maintenance
School gardens are most productive when one of our Professional Urban Farmers maintains them with students on a regular basis. Our Urban Farmers provide seeds, plants, pest management, minor above ground irrigation repairs, and overall maintenance to keep your School garden productive and beautiful!

By teaming up with the Nevada Department of Agriculture and members of Clark County School District, we are able to provide Educational Curriculum to teachers of Pre-K through High School, based on STEAM and NV State standards, where they can utilize the garden as an educational tool in the classroom.
