Every Wednesday in April from 11am -12pm

will feature an hour long class with one of our Professional Urban Farmers.

Unit 1: Starting your Spawn 4/5/23

Step by step walk through of the beginning stages of Mushroom Growing. From collecting spawn, and Sterilization, to choosing and inoculating your substrate.

Unit 2: What’s Growin’ On? 4/12/23

A deep dive into the wonderful world of fungi. From the life cycle of Fungi, to Ecosystem Services and Mycorrhizae!

Unit 3: Mushroom Nutrition 4/19/23

Discuss the nutritional and health benefits of consuming Mushrooms.

Unit 4: Mushroom Harvest 4/26/23

Learn how to harvest your very own mushrooms, and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

**Each unit is $6 per person. or $24 per person for the entire Course**

Located at Garden Farms Community Garden inside of Craig Ranch Regional Park.

Enter the park of Lone Mountain and Camino Al Norte, Cross the little bridge, Turn left, once you pass the dog park, the Garden is on your right!
