Become a Junior Farmer at Garden Farms Summer Camp!
Give your kids, ages 5–13, the opportunity to step into the world of farming at Garden Farms Junior Farmer Summer Camp 2026! This hands-on, urban farming experience immerses children in the principles of permaculture, teaching them how to grow and care for fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruits—right in the heart of the Southwest desert.
Through fun, engaging, and educational activities, Junior Farmers will build confidence, creativity, and a deeper connection to where their food comes from.
🌿 What Will Junior Farmers Do?
🌱 Grow & Harvest
Plant, nurture, and care for seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees while learning sustainable farming practices.
🎨 Create Nature-Inspired Art
Explore creativity through hands-on art projects using natural and garden-based materials.
🍅 Take Home Their Harvest
Junior Farmers will bring home freshly grown produce and DIY garden projects they worked on throughout the camp.
🌾 Seed to Harvest Experience
With guidance from Garden Farms’ experienced farmers, campers will harvest produce and help prepare a nutritious farm-to-table meal to enjoy together for lunch.
