Junior Farmer For a day

Garden Farms is excited to offer Las Vegas youth a fun and safe environment to get their hands dirty, develop a deep root understanding of the importance of permaculture, while cultivating seeds of friendship!

Parents, wrangle up your Junior Farmers and meet us at Pumpkin Park in Henderson!

Junior Farmers will spend the morning with Garden Farms’ Professional Urban Farmers, getting their hands dirty and rotating through hands-on activities that highlight themes such as Art in the Garden, Garden Games, Permaculture Education, and Seed to Table healthy food options!

Located at Garden Farms Community Garden in Henderson, Pumpkin Park.

Junior Farmer for a Day is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays -

(1) - (2) hour Farming session offered each day for up to (12) Junior Farmers!

Reservations are required

Space is limited.

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your session starts as you will not be admitted into the Garden before that time

Admission:

7-12 years old: $15 (covers the cost of Junior Farmer Supplies)

Under 7: Free with Paid Child Admission Parents must attend with any child under the age of 7

Adults: (1) Free with each paid child submission

Additional Adults: $5 ea

Admission is for a (2) hour session

We do not do partial payments of a session

We do not split time into (2) sessions

Admission is non-refundable but is transferable.
